Job Summary:

The Asset Capturer is responsible for accurately cataloguing, tracking,
and maintaining an organization's assets, including physical equipment, digital assets,
and other valuable resources. They play a crucial role in ensuring proper asset
management and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
|
Asset Data Collection: -
Physically inspect and identify all assets, including but not limited to
computer hardware, software licenses, office furniture, machinery, and
vehicles.
- Record asset details, such as serial numbers, purchase dates, warranty
information, and location.
- Verify and update asset information regularly to ensure accuracy
Asset Tracking and Monitoring: - Configure a system to track asset movement, transfers, and disposals.
- Conduct regular audits to verify the physical presence of assets and
investigate any discrepancies.
- Monitor asset depreciation and update values accordingly for financial
reporting.
Maintenance and Preservation: - Ensure proper maintenance schedules for assets and track maintenance
activities.
- Implement procedures to prevent loss, damage, or theft of assets.
- Maintain records of repairs and maintenance
Asset Disposal: - Coordinate the disposal or sale of assets that are no longer in use.
- Ensure that disposal processes comply with regulatory and environmental
requirements.
Data Management: - Maintain an organized database or asset management software to store
and retrieve asset information.
- Generate regular reports and summaries of asset status for management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (or
equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in asset management or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using asset management software and tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial principles related to asset management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards related to asset
management.

- Experience in implementing asset tracking technology and RFID systems.
